eXp World Holdings, the holding company for eXp Realty recently announced the pending acquisition of Zoocasa Realty Inc and its key property, zoocasa.com. They are doing this to bolster eXp’s online lead generation, home search and listing portal opportunities for their agents and brokers. The transaction is expected to close in July 2022.
In case you don’t know much about Zoocasa, it is an award-winning consumer real estate search portal and brokerage based in Toronto, Canada. They offered an all-in-one scalable listings platform that gives users a seamless home search experience and a connection to local real estate experts.
This acquisition is also a testament to eXp differentiating and giving their agents an option for nurtured and inside sales qualified leads. Zoocasa has close to 12 million annual visits and 150 in-house real estate agents.
